Radio Security Code?

I recently purchased a 2000 Infiniti I30 and will be changing the battery soon (myself). I have been told that I need to find out the radio security code before disconnecting the battery. Does the Infiniti require a security code? Any thoughts appreciated.

I've changed mine with no problem to the radio.
