I pretty new to cars and i was wondering, what are the differences between the 3sgte adn the 5sfe? which one has more power and which one do i ahve in my 93 celica gt? thanks

Hi,

The 3S-GTE is a inline 4, 2.0 liter, turbocharged and intercooled engine. The first GEN 3S-GTE made 190HP/190ft/lb. The latest makes over 255HP.

The 5S-FE is an inline 4, 2.2 liter, normally aspirated engine. It makes around 130 HP I believe.

This is the basics. There are a lot more differences, but this will give you an idea. Just use a search engine, you'll find whatever info you want...

Your car has a 5S-FE. Look in your owners manual, anywhere on the internet...
