I've honestly never heard of that problem before. What brand is it?

the rattling is made from the shifter being too long and touching the exhaust, i just don't know how to fix it. it is one off of ebay i got for a present. that could be the problem but i think there should be some way to fix it. thanks

there is a thing on the shift rod for balancing that may rub - it can be cut off, or the exhuast bent out of the way.

Shifter is more important than an exhaust system IMO

I had the same problem until I purchased my Apexi N1 cat back. now i dont have any problems. It wont hurt anything to shave some of it off.
