well sorry to say this, but i think my time has come to leave af, i know that this is off topic but since i post mostly in here, i will post this in 92+ civic, basically af to me has lost a lot of value and seems to become over run by newbies that ask the same questions over and over again. af has been a good home to me for almost 2 years now and before that it was ph for over a year, and there really isnt much more for me to say, i may be back sometime, i may not be. i havent seen much out of af, other then made the few friends that i have, darrell you are my bro and u know where to find me, ari its been fun getting to know you, and you also know where to find me.

i dont see any reason for an OG like me to stick around, maybe you do, give me some feedback, i fear that this will be the last thread i make here on af, and one of the last posts that i will make here on af.

i also saw a fellow member and a good friend of mine from wisconsin, that was like i said a member on here, die without anyone even noticing.

Yea man. You were the first person to help me and so many others and we'll hate to loose you. There's few people on here that can truly help... on almost every topic! I admit i helped making this site a newbie haven but now i have learned as much as i can from this guy. Eric you've been a huge help!

hey man ive left too. i was here for a few months with my hatch but didnt like the quality of people and absence of knowledge. i know more then almost anyone here can teach me and get nothing out of repeating myself to newbies constantly. so i have moved on to the world of volkswagens and im loving it. props to those who try and keep this place informative and all i can say is people need to do some of their own research instead of having others always do it for you. i think i may have participated in other threads with you esp but anyways im done here but ill check back once in a while for sh!ts and giggles.

i have many reasons, one being that this section of af is being over run with newbies who dont read the guidelines, and the enforcement of this section is truely starting to lack there,

as much as i would like to stay and do that :lol: ,

there needs to be changes that i have mentioned to igor, such as more mods in the honda/acura section to help control all this newbie dumbness, it just doesnt seem to be happening, and in order for me to stay something needs to change,

i appreciate all your input and i will consider it, but things need to change here. keep the comments coming, but at this moment i will most likely be leaving for some time.

Glad to read that i'm not the only one thinking this about AF. It seems like all i do in the Honda/Acura forums is tell people to take it to the Classifieds. The Off-Topic Forum is where i find myself spending my time. I'd say stay, but i feel the same way as you, something's happened to AF, and it's the same stuff all over again. I learned so much stuff on here when i first started with my car, now if i want to take it a step further, i have to go to other boards. Feel your pain, i'll be leaving soon too.

The guys on ClubSi.com know a ton of shit, but you'll get banned there for just about anything like saying "repost" or pointing out a spelling error. (I'm currently banned on there because of that hehe) But if you find one where you don't have to tell people how an intake works 50 times lemme know.

Damn man, sorry to hear your leaving. That sucks. As several other vets on here said, it's nice to know other people are notciing the same thing. But don't leave. Yes, it sucks, and gets annoying, that newbies post like 17 threads about "what motor should I put in to my car" or "how does a CAI work." But don't go, if we all leave, it truely will be over-run by absent minded idiots. Stay, help us vets put em in there place. The 3 mods in this forum seem to never be around now. Maybe we should keep buggin for new mod's in here; Mods who are in here currently and read all this crap. I mean, a mod who's never in here can't really do the job. On the n00bie issue, you gotta think of it like this, we all had to start somewhere, right? I'll admit to you some will ask some pretty common knowledge questions, or just not research before asking something very simple (like "what is Vtech?) haha, that one gets me everytime. Usually Vtech tends to have crappy range when it goes too far from home. :lol2: :loser: Nah, but seriously... you shouldn't let the n00bs or their posts get to you and cause you to leave. That's just showing weakness. If you don't give up on them, then they WILL eventually learn. But if you feel your time on AF is exhausted, then I can't blame you either. I've had times I've considered packing up and moving on, but then I just find myself coming back...
