aem cai on integra GS

i have looked at some cai from AEM and found it is for the LS model but i have the GS model integra..knowing the LS and GS use the same engine.. im assuming i can just buy the AEM cai LS for my integra GS. am i correct?

Yeah, my buddy has a GSR cai intake(temporarily) on his LS.

with the gsr its different though. because of the vtec the diameter of the pipe is actually smaller to let the right amount of air in to the intake manifold. now theres nothing that says u can't do this, but with that smaller pipe on your ls, this is disrupting and slowing the air flow causing your car to not perform as well.

Yea, they have different intakes for the ls and gsr for a reason. You could prob run a gsr intake on an ls, but you would most likely get an overall better performance on the intake made for your car. BTW- if you live in an area with a lot a rain/precipitation, i would recommend getting a ram (short) air intake. I live in Ohio and have known like 3-4 people who blew out their engines due to water getting in their cai.
