95 cavalier ran out of gas and now refuses to stay running unless you drive it as a manual

started 3 days ago ran out of fuel then it started running really rough have to give it gas when stopped to keep it running so it always stinks of fuel and it only runs decent when given a lot of rpms.

have blown the filter out no change and it wasnt bad either
have added higher octane fuel and no change
have added fuel treatment to it and no change

need to fix asap and unfortunately with using as little money as possible cause i have very little

have you checked your fuel pressure?
