99 firebird security problem

I have a 99 firebird. Sometimes when you get in and go to start the car the security light will come on and not let it start. It will stay on 2-3 minutes then go off. Most of the time it will start after it does it. Now and then when you go to start it the light will come on again. I have to wait for it to go off again. It does it worse when it is damp out side. I have had several people tell me to replace the key. I had 3 keys made and nothing was different each time. People told me it was the ignition switch so I replaced it and still nothing. I thought well it might be a bad switch so i got another one. Still nothing. Can someone please help me? If i need to ask in a different forum or somthing then please let me know what i need to do. I am new here and tring to figure this out. Thanks for any help..
