Have searched a half a dozen times for the PCV valve but have not been successful in locating it. Could anyone provide a picture of the location on the 02 Isuzu Trooper.? Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you boritz that was very helpful. Turns out Autozone sold me the wrong PCV valve which is why I did not recognize the old one when I saw it coming out of the crankcase.

Wasn't kidding, just confused because AutoZone sold me the elbow version that slides into the rubber grommet like what you have but the 02 takes a straight thread in PCV valve. So essentially I was looking in the right place but overlooking it repeatedly because it did not look like the replacement part in hand. Thanks for taking the time to take and post the picture, I appreciate the help. I look forward to your input on future questions that I am sure I will have. I am very new to all this, but love it!!!
