I have a 2000 ex auto. I was just wondering, if I were to get a jdm enigne and tranny , do I also have to do major conversion to manual or do I have to convert it to manual first then, get the swap? which one would be cheaper or more affective? conversion first then swap or swap then conversion?

all at once because it will be cheaper and you wont have to unload the engine more than once. Converting to manual is not usualy worth it at all and will NEVER be the same as an original manual. It WILL fail somewhere and have a shorter life. :bloated:

I wanna kmnoiw why you think it wont be like an original manual, you got the pedal to push in the clutch, which is a easy thing to do. and then you got the torque rod/shift linkage to shift it. and the tranny bolts up to the engine, why wuold it wear out quick???
do it right and itll be fine. and theres not much you could do wrong if you dont try mickey mousing crap.
