he is saying will shaving 30 thousandths off the head give you more horsepower and the answer is yes, it will give you more but how much im not sure the best thing to do would be to call a performance shop, but along with doing that. in some cases you have to do other things too like get shorter valves and all that stuff but i would call them and see

What kind of c/r are you trying to attain by doing this and what kind of engine are you doing it to?
