Well here they are, sorry for the multi-posting: Darkwing 05-05-2003, 08:37 PM another: Darkwing 05-05-2003, 08:38 PM last one: les6thboro 05-05-2003, 09:05 PM looks good thats a WS apexi? how does it sound and what u paid for it KrNxRaCer00 05-06-2003, 12:05 AM looks pretty sweet. nice job darkwing :D Darkwing 05-06-2003, 10:57 PM Originally posted by les6thboro looks good thats a WS apexi? how does it sound and what u paid for it sounds real good. Deep and not loud. Only when the engine is real hot does it make noise all the time. Real good sound. Lets the intake make most the racket. It compliments very nice IMO. I paid $350 for it on ebay, plus $60 shipping. And I paid $50 to have it mounted as I have no pit or such to do it myself. So I paid $460 total and it retails at $509 store value. Question though: is it supposed to shake? This thing vibrates pretty hard. I'd say at an amplitude of about a half inch. I can feel it in the wheel and through the gas pedal. Is that normal? peace markpa 05-06-2003, 11:00 PM did u get catback? Darkwing 05-07-2003, 06:02 PM yeah its full cat-back. wouldn't pay $460 for a tip ;) racerbot 05-09-2003, 05:59 AM nice pics! You might want to crawl under there and double check some of the connections. If they didn't use the flexible bushings where the pipes bolt up you'll get a lot of vibration, and could potentially crack some area of the pipes/manifold under heavy acceleration. If it was a reputable shop I imagine they put it together right, but it's probably worth taking a look. Darkwing 05-09-2003, 05:34 PM yeah CivicracerX, I thought of that. Thing is, I watched them put it on and they used the bushings. Plus the only thing that shakes is the muffler and tip, the pipes dont shake, I looked. Also they hung it right, I double-checked that. It's weird to me. And it doesn't always do it. Plus the shop is the best in town I couldn't see them messing it up that easy. Anymore thoughts shoot em! SiRII 05-09-2003, 06:07 PM are you running a test pipe? Darkwing 05-10-2003, 12:03 AM Originally posted by SiRII are you running a test pipe? explain. I don't get it. ????? SiRII 05-10-2003, 03:16 AM Originally posted by Darkwing explain. I don't get it. ????? not the stock cat. converter. but a straight through test pipe B16 SiRII 05-10-2003, 11:52 AM I was planning on getting this type of exhaust just for those reasons...not too loud but deep enough to sound agressive and decent performance gains. So overall you are satisfied with this exhaust? Darkwing 05-11-2003, 01:14 AM yeah real satisfied. Probably even more so as time goes on. and no its not a test pipe then, it has a catalytic converter that came with it. It basically replaced everything from the header on back. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
