2004 Pontiac Sunfire Alternating RPM Problem 0o

RPM alternates whenever going past the 50km mark, you get random bursts of power and instrumentation starts to go from 0 to 60. Oils are good, computer issue? Unsure entirely.

Worst is when trying to go up hill instrumentation then goes wack and random bursts of power are more frequent.

Any ideas what this could be?
