88 trooper oil pan removel

I have an 88 trooper II 4 cyc . I am trying to replace the oil pan gasket.i have un bolted the motor mounts ,raised the motor as high as I canget it with a chain hoist,I have removed all bolts on the oil pan and 4 that bolt from the trans. but the pan still will not drop.what am I missing?I need help fast.....:crying:
