Wouldn't mind getting the new subby and rx-8. But I do agree - I hope they improve the quality of their kits....wishful thinking??!!

No Mercs, but very nice Japanese cars!

I am personally looking forward in making the NSX, if I ever find this model around here...

My sentiments exactly! :jumpie:

But some members here (**cough**Mikke**cough***something in my throat) still see it as a bad thing because they're afraid of Fujimi quality... ;)

i don't think fujimi's quality is as bad as everyone thinks... seriously... when u compare Fujimi to Revell... Fujimi kits look like Tamiya kits!!

now when u compare Fujimi to Tamiya, well Fujimi kits are just Fujimi kits..

the only thing i think u guys should be worried about in Fujimi kits is what you'll actually get inside the box.

new NSX? maybe it's new stickers? hahaha

Not in this case! As far as i know, Fujimi have never released a NSX kit so this should be a new tool. Same goes for the RX-8 and Scooby.

The quality of Fujimi's kits is not the issue, its just their lazyness with detail and lack of parts in recent years. They are capable of some astounding work, going to levels of detail equal to and perhaps beyond Tamiya - see their Enthusiast range. I really like Fujimi, they produce some great subjects and loads to choose from (even if they are reboxed in most cases!). Their quality is good enough to make a pleasing curbside model to put on your shelf and that's all they seem to be concerned with right now.

Sure thing, and they have a decent range of road Benz's so I'm not complaining. Even if quality should be "so and so" sometimes, that's not too bad. It brings the best out of a good modeler. Only working with Tamiya is from a true modeling standpoint not a big deal. It all falls together without a glitch, fun to do, but not as challeging as a Revell ot a Fujimi. If you do modif's etc. because the original is not as detailed. No criticism here, just my 2 cents ;)

 That surprise me!! But how did you know Jay?? I went to Fujimi's website and saw no sign of the new cars... But the new NSX and the RX-8 will be tempting me :D Not intend to get the new Subaru WRX WRC as Tamiya will be releasing it. I heard it from Tamiya... but not surprising because Tamiya had release so many year's WRX WRC :)

Jay? Jay is still as ignorant as he was :p

Actually, Mikke showed it to me, and you can have a look for yourself (http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/shop_right_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=102&Typ2_c=106&Typ3_c=439&sortID=1&thumb=1&Spage=1)

WOOHOO! An RX8!:flash: :flash: :flash:

Of course it would be much, much better if it were Tamiya, with engine. We can only hope Tamiya sees fit to make the RX8.

Then again, we can only hope that Fujimi (or Scale Auto Style) sees fit to make the Mazdaspeed version...

Good news on the new STi, I'm not really wild about the latest NSX, looks like a guppy on acid.:bloated: :bloated: I prefer the old version.

Now, wonder why Fujimi has such an aversion to German cars? No M3's, M5's, SL55 AMG's. Weird.

I think Tamiya will attempt the RX-8 and New NSX, i cant see them missing out on producing these. I'll certainly wait and see what happens before thinking adout doing any conversions.

Good point about the Mazdaspeed version, seem likely that Fujimi will tackle this.

Good news, good news! Hopefully this will get Tamiya off its ass and start doing some real car kits!

As far as quality goes, I think we can expect quality at least on par with the Fujimi DC5 ITR..
