Does anyone know how to replace the little clearance lights located next to the head lights in the 2000 model? I can't reach the one on the passenger side. Can I take the whole front headlight piece off? If so how do I do it? I only see two screws on the top but something else is holding it.

It's good that you are asking this question, because I did this 2 weeks ago.
When I was changing my bulbs on all the lights, I found that the clearance lights (particularly the passenger side one) were a pain in the ass to replace. I spent maybe 2 hrs trying to twist it :) with no luck. So I took some small strong tweezers and used lots of force to turn the bulb clockwise (I believe it was clockwise). It finally worked, I was overjoyed :). Try that. You won't have any luck using your fingers, because I didn't. There's not much space for movement on that side.

Yeah I tried for about an hour too, and all I ended up with was a bunch of scratches on my hand from a zip tie in the area. I thought of using pliers, but I was worried I would damage the casing. Thanks for the input. If I don't figure out how to remove the panel then maybe I'll give the pliers a shot.
Anyone know how to remove the headlight/signal panel????

i did the long nose plyer myself. it's clockwise if you're facing the rear of the car, but ccw if your are looking behind the lamp towards the front of the car. do that, it's much faster than to take out the headlight and try to re-aim everything.
the plug wont crack that easily. (but dont quote me on it as you might have a really strong grip. :D)

alright, i guess i'll give it a try. Now I'm wondering if i can even fit pliers in there. Oh well, I'm still hoping someone knows how to remove the whole panel. :jump:
