Gallardo Model (http://www.exoticar.com/pages/search_products_2.cfm) Went to exoticar today to see if the Diablo 6.0 had been released yet, and to my surprise the Gallardo is now available! I think its made by BBurago, but I'm not sure since it doesn't say. But I'm still waiting for the 6.0 to come out, anyone know a date of its availability? Thought I'd share this since I'm sure a lot of yall are interested in this.

Nah I don't think it's Bburago... from the pics it doesn't look like Bburago quality... Bburago would never paint window trims like that, in fact they would never paint window trims. Looks more like Maisto or Mattel. Besides, if you look at the model number it's a 5-digit #... Bburagos are 4digit nums starting with a letter.

Yep Maisto sucks, and the stick shift is 100% proof of that. I'll wait for Autoart as well.

most of the maisto's i have aint that bad....but that gear stick is the worst i have ever seen!!!
i cant afford autoart prices, so ill probably get the maisto and modify it.

That gearstick looks hideous! I'm sure Maisto wouldn't make the mistake of producing it like that. I hope that's the prototype.

I am pretty sure it is just the prototype, but I wouldn't be so sure that Maisto wouldn't put something like this in production. They have done worse things...

yea, i bought that model...i was supprised at the quality too.
but then the clk dtm model is excellent too, maisto seem to have got their act together recently

I wouldn't call them blatently obvious things. The gearstick obviously is, but most mistakes I've noticed haven't been obvious. It is really the overall quality and detail of many of their models. However, I would say that they are worth their price.

I got the model yesterday and posted pics.
the gear lever IS still big. however it is made up for with a actually pretty good quality model overall. not auto art certainly, and not quite Carrera GT standards but still worth the price IMO.
