motor swap

I am swapping a B16A in my 91 hatch at the beginning of the summer and i was going to buy the complete motor off of hmotorsonline.com for like 1200 and the hasport mounts and linkage for 400. What else do i need for the swap.

it's hard to say because some things come to you broken and not there, so plan on spending like 200 bucks on spare parts just to be safe, and for engine and trans. oil. other than that you just need lots of time.

i got mine from them too, very smooth.

although i already put another grand at least into the motor, and its not even off the palette it came on yet.

you gotta figure about another 300 for shipping, plus timing belt, water pump, maybe some sensors, you might have to replace the axles they send you, plus some other maintenance items.

You'll need 90-93 integra axles and u also need the 90-93 intermediate shaft of an integra also. You will need 90-93 rear bracket mount if yours didnt' come with one. Thats pretty much it. For more info go here...www.hasport.com

hmotors gave me the correct SIR axles for the swap you dont need to buy the new ones for a teg.

Is everything else up to spec on the car? Tires? Suspension? Brakes? Cooling?

Use acuraautomotiveparts.net and hondaautomotiveparts.com for all dealer items. Discounted but still expensive.

If you are on a tight budget, you might want to start buying some of the items on the above list now and finish up with the motor purchase (remember LSDs are on back-order). That way everything is sitting in your garage waiting for your attention when the 'big package' arrives.
