Pls post some engine bay pics. I never seen a JR Supercharger in a SOHC. Just take out them altezza's and R badge. I don't get it. Other than that nice car.

the LED washer squirters where on the car when i got it, i dont know where to get regualar ones to put back on it, i cut the wires to them if it makes you feel any better

Hey I wasn't ordering him to take them off his car. It was a suggestion. In fact I am in the process of getting altezza's and an R badge too!!! lol

I think it looks sweet...with or with out the tails or squirter lights......would like to see the JRSC under the hood though.....theres a 95 civic running around here with one too....

jesus christ...i have never seen people bash someone over TAIL LIGHT in my entire life.....i like um...i dont care if it's "rice" i like how they look...dont really care if it's "not cool" to everyone around me...shit it's my car.....hell i bet he feels the same way......


by the way where did you get that supercharger and weas it hard to put on?

supercharger came from moss motors (the company that the name jackson racing covers) and i sure as hell didn't put it on

when people say "i hate your tail lights" i say "the whole reason i got them is to give you something to look at when we race"

Hey man, I love your car and your rims are bad A$$. Like most people in here, I'm not fond of the tail lights, I think SIR OEM tail lights would kick arce on your ride :devil:. Thats my only beef. Keep up the good work man.:D

I dunno, I think its stupid. Someone out to get your rims or piss you off will only be more pissed off by the 16 wheel locks, and just resort to bashing your car in with their car jack - seen it happen to a friends car. They actually totalled his 96 civic because of the damage... all to keep his $1500 wheels. :bloated:

So you are always within alarm hearing distance of your alarm? Not to mention it takes all of 15-30 seconds if that to cut off your alarm. You drive to the mall, park your car... alarm goes off, by the time anyone even realizes which car it is - the alarm will be off and no one will think twice about it. Not trying to discourage you or whatever, but thinking your car is safe is the number 1 leading factor in car theft.

how much u get the jackson supercharger for? was it worth it? how much hp are u rated at the wheel right now?

jrsc was $2700, not sure about hp haven't dynoed

let me tell you a story, about two weeks ago the bracket that holds my idler pulleys on broke in half. i pulled over and saw what had happened. i knew the bottom pulley and belt were about to go so i cut the belt and took off the bottom pulley, top pulley and what of the braket had broken off and decided to try to make it home. now on the SOHC supercharger the belt goes around both the supercharger and the alternator so i drove home killing my battery but i needed to make it home. on the drive home my car had no power, it almost made me sick to press the gas. so i would say yes, it was worth it, although problematic, it's got power where i like it, from 1 rpm to 8000. if i had to do over again i'd probably turbo, but i gotta make do with the choice i made

im afraid to go turbo cuz of the stories i hear about turbo lag

this is what it boils down to



turbo = as much psi as you got money = more power

supercharger = 6 - 8 psi = no lag

The way you get turbo lag is by matching up the wrong turbo to the wrong motor. You need to matchup turbo size to the PSI to the motor - otherwise you will either have a turbo only good for lower RPM's - or turbo lag to holy hell... you need to have a pro find the right balance for you.

Any "over the counter" turbo kit should be fine for you though if you want to spend the bucks on it - have fun spending $3000-$4000 or so :ylsuper

it also depends on what you're going to be doing with the car, if it'll be drag only, then i'd say turbo. turbo isn't bad for daily driving but i think you've got to tune them to get them that way, a sc just goes. i also think for auto-xing sc is best
