Anyways, we will see how it goes, cause some guy I talked to last night took the orage out of the tails of his 3g accord, so we will see how it goes. I will post pics and the entire process once I complete this.

Just don't let it end up like the time you black out your tails. Blehh! Nasty shit.

Didnt work, the lens itself is Orange, this is probably the reason all the clear sedan tails I see are usually from 88-89's.
Right now the right taillight is just chillin waiting for the new silicone to dry, if I got nothing else out of this at least my tail wont leak anymore.
I will post pics of the process later, and hopefully I dont get pulled over when I go to lunch later.

You look closely here and you can actually see some inside the lens, it will turn clear once it dries and wont be as noticeable though.

I ended up returning the orange bulbs, even though I maybe should have kept em for when my new bumper lenses come, I like the bumpers being white anyways.

was there any other way to possibly fabricate a clear tail lense. maybe some sort of transparent plastic and then paint them half red?
a friend of mine made clear bumper corners with ceiling light covers from home depot.
i dunno. it might not look good but it was just a thought

what did you go through to make them? Did you just paint thinner the existing lens or what .. I am still interested in doing mine.

no, It really was not all that fun. First what you have to do is when you take off you existing tail lights go and get some plexy glass then take off the outer housing of the taillights. You will need a heat gun or something along those lines.
Take the plexy and match it up to the outer shell of the stock taillight. mark where the corners are so you can cut the plexy to fit the housing. Then you will want to heat up the plexy so that you can bend it. Bend it around the stock so it looks almost identical. You must do this slow, do not over heat the plexy or it will look weird and wavy. then when you get the desired form goto like checker or some place that sells the tape that you use to like fix taillights. you will need the clear stuff and the red stuff if you want the half and half look. put that on the inside of the plexy.
after that get some silicone and electrical tape. silicone the plexy onto the housing and put some tape around the edges so that you can't see the silicone. and just like that you are done

Lush number plate (licence plate) on that green car, what is it?
over in the UK you have to have at least one letter and one number in you plate, which sucks, i found C1VCS (civics) for £1000 though which i am thinkin' of gettin' once i've saved up some cash!
