well i went to the car show (no one even acknowledge my car) and me and my freind decided to goto the new mall. After being there for about 30 min. we decide to go back to my house. Well there is a really sharp turn and i was only goin 40mph. I started drifting and i couldnt get back control so i slid over the median and hit a parked t-bird.
before you read this.... i only have liability insurance
My car now:
1.fucked up bumper
2.driver side cornerlights
3.driver side fender
4.driver side a arm (suspension)
5.driver side door
6.driver side rim cracked in half (poor tenzo r's)
7.cant close the sunroof
8.busted up radiator
i will have pics of the show and in about a week pics of how bad my car was
if you were wondering about the tbird.
1.passenger side tailight busted
2.back right tire bent in
3.the whole back right side is competelty bent in
estimated to be about 2000-3000 worht of work
life sux, this is the only thing i had, this is my only hobby i want to die

he acts like its no big deal just as long as im alright.
i been thinking and i know i am goin to get flamed for this but my life was on the line today, i almost flipped the car and that would have been bad. But i decided to screw racing and autocrossing and just go for looks, nothing ricey, just clean. I dont want to do waht i did today ever again. I got over confident and look what happened, only 40mph and im in 3400 in debt, i was seriously thinkgin about getting a nice 4 dr automatic car to prevent me from doin this.
i guess it has to happen to you to realize how bad it is and how terrible you feel. it happened at 5 tonight and its 10 right now and im still shaking

im so sorry to here about that. im glad your okay though. I realy hope things get better for you and hope youll be okay with money. Maybe you can get a lot if you part it out and not be too much in debt anymore. Well, best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

good news, i got the door open :) but i cant get the front bumper off b/c the screws got stripped any ideas?

Good you're okay.
Use a dremell or drill for the screws.

it is definatly good to hear that you and all your friends are all ok, but what happened that you lost it? was it due to water or gravel on the roads or just becuse you were goin a little bit too fast?

Sorry to hear it man. I also only have liability, and I will share my accident story from a year ago thanksgiving day, and is the reason I have the civic, although I probably would have had a new car by now anyhow. I used to have a 1973 MGB-GT
I was out in the country coming back from a friend house when I was coming around a turn, as I began to come out of it there was an suv on the wrong side of the road. I swerved to avoid a head on and hit a ditch, car went up the other side and the right wheels left the ground but by some miracle, the car didnt flip and came back down. We called the police and I told him what I was able to see, but because I wasnt able to catch the plate and it was nighttime, the officer told me there wasnt much he could do and advised me not to report the accident to my insurance because my insurance would classify it as an at fault accident because there was no proof another vehicle was involved. The car was pretty much totaled and for two months I was without a car. Three days later I was taking my parents 91 ford bronco to school and was making a right turn from a stop onto a street, and as I came out a 98 civic sedan sideswiped me and in this accident I was put at fault. The rear door fell off the civic and the front pass side window broke. Bronco's bumper bent outward, but otherwise was not damaged. The insurance found out about this and didnt raise my rates too much because I had no prior driving violations and I was on the good student program (3.0 GPA, im not a prep, so dont start with me)
Anyways, really sucked for me, and my dad made me get a 4door car next so it wouldnt be as "sporty" funny thing was in the beginning I wasnt going to do anything to it, but then the muffler fell off and so I started doing shit to it.
Anyhow, sorry to hear about your loss, I know what its like when it seems like your car is your only friend, and your pride and joy in life.
