Tamiya 1:24 Toyota Corolla WRC (*FINAL PICS*)

Finally a good sunny day to go out and take some photos.
Tamiya’s Corolla WRC is not a complicated model and is a great joy to build.
Just some little of patience when applying the Castrol colour scheme decals but with the help of Microscale products everything is much easier and the final result is great.
Hope you like it.

After your B188, now the Corolla! You're showing us that you master them all! F1, Rally no matter what, Gainsbourg does always a really good job!
Worth waiting for the sun to shine in Portugal! Like the Fly said, send the sun over here too. Last 20mm of rain :(
Already decided on the next project?

One word- WOW. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like one of the best box stock Corollas I've ever seen. I've got one of those, but have been intimidated by the decals. I've done one other race subject with a brilliant color scheme and it took 8 hours to apply and blend the surrounding color with an airbrush.
If you don't mind, may I save your pics and use them for my reference? I haven't really looked for reference images on that car. I plan on saving it to disk and popping it in the kit's box.

That looks awesome!! and the pics are clear as well! I always had one question about that kit, what kind of corolla is that based off of? I never did see any stock corollas close to that. Is it from another country?

First I’d like to thank you all for your kind comments.
I’m glad you liked it.
Fly & huudo:
I really tried but the sun doesn’t want to do.
I think it’s easier to get you both here for a good vacation in Portugal :D
wkma7six:
You don’t have to be intimidated by the Corolla decals; they’re not hard to apply.
Just 3 to have more careful: the MoviStar one in the front bumper, the green one on the back session, since it have to be well applied all around the rear bumper, and the top one because it’s a single huge decal that must be handled with extreme care not to break it.
About my next project(s) I’ve not totally decided yet. I will build two at the same time, one will be a F1 car and will be most for certain the Ligier JS11, Depailler version, and the other one I’m trying to decide.
Want to help?

As if you were not a Ferrari fan Ales :)
And I will go for your suggestion. I have two cans of TS-49 and the Marlboro decals for this one so the Ligier will stay for the next round.
About the Minolta it’s a good suggestion, but only if someone tell me a colour to paint the blue without mixing 2 colours. Otherwise my second future project is yet to find.
