Peeps from HT (CRXPO) and I are planning a Bay Area meet to finish off the year with decent EF-Civic/CRX "Meet"...We're still gathering and tallying venues and we would like your input. So far we've chosen a few possibilities... Golden Gate Park, Point Bonita (Marin), Fort Point (Foot of Golden Gate Bridge), Crissy Field...To be held on the last weekend (Saturday) of October. Please email me for more info. or just post a reply on who's interested and willing to help organize this event.:flash:

By the way, heald concord is having a mini meet this weekend, but they want everyone to pay $10 to register. So hella people are parking in the lot across the street to spite em.

What do you guys think of the venue selection? Any input? I kinda like Fort Point, being right under or foot of GoldenGateBridge...What we can do is organize a meeting place and time then we can have a convoy from SF to Sausalito through Stinson Beach then to GoldenGate Park and hang out at Ocean Beach...

from the looks of it, it might be only a 4g civic/2g crx meet, but i'm not the one running it so more years might be able to come, i dunno
I think fort point would be good also, Used to go there like every weekend, to the docks near it anyway :) GG park i think is gonna be pretty darn busy, but we'll survive :D

Yes, I have a CAT installed. It's pretty quiet even if you're at cruising speed (70mph)...it gives way to intake sound which I like and not over powering noise...

How do you guys feel about meeting up in Marin instead...just by Sausalito and start there instead...Through Marin Headlands then San Francisco to Ocean Beach. Some of the attendees are coming from Marin and wouldnt be smart to pay $5 bux to meet at Fort Point then end up driving accross twice for the drive by and pay toll once again. Also, for those of you coming from Sacramento, Noah, one of the organizers is driving down from Chico and can do a convoy and meet up somewhere in Fairfield-Nut Tree area. Let me know:flash:

i have no control over the weather. and don't give me throw on chains...i'm not even about to get 100 miles from hom and then have to pull off on the side of the road and wait in the cold until they open the roads back up. last time i went down to CA early Nov I got stuck and extra 3 days until the weather passed.
i have to just wait a week and see how it's going before i start saying "maybe i'll be there....."

Dfarres is comin to my house around 9:45, im excited bout the meet. I gotta vacumm out my car real quick (I dont think I have time to put the vx rims back on the front) I am running steelies on the front right now cause I thought it was gonna rain today, so I was gonna go have some fun and didnt wanna fuck up the good michelins on the vx'ers.
