i finaly got a tach. well its a little tougher then i thought to install. umm

my car has a plug behind my speedometer, engine temp, feul temp gauge pod ...
it seems to be a loneley little plug. anddd im thinking thats for a tachometer would i be rite?

if so .. maby whats what or a little coaching.

the instructions for the gauge says to plug the green wire to the negative side of the ignition coil. also honda civic 99 does not have that. it has. a powertrain contol module or something like that.

im hoping honda had the decentcy to at leaste wire it for you incase you wanted to add one your self.. well help guys / girls please.

Did the same for my '00 Civic DX. Just pull out your gauge cluster. when pulled straight out, look for a BLUE wire with SILVER dots on it, and that's the wire you want to tap the green wire of your tach, into for the RPM signal. This wire can be found on the LEFT side big wire harness that's behind where your temp gauge is. Hope that helps. :) If you got lost finding that wire, you can always go through your firewall, and tap into the lone BLUE wire with SILVER dots that's located ontop of the driver's side shock tower. It's a lone wire that terminates to a clip right there.
