I believe it was, at one point I knew the specs but, I have now forgotten but I think HP was up near 500 or 600.

How much power does the Veilside Supra have? Cause I have a drag race between it and an F40 on my comp, and the F40 does 13.222 and the Supra does 13.7something. This is on an oval course...the Supra eventually catches up on the second straightaway and tries to pass but has to drop back for the turn...the F40 hit 308 kph, the Supra 318. But remember that this is stock vs. modified...big bonus for Ferrari then. :D

Well then the jack off's driving those cars can't drive, because the F40 can do the 1/4 mile in 11.8 seconds. In real life a STOCK supra won't be able to take the 355, but of course a heavily modified one could. And in real life, the Supra used in the movie was a 12 second car, not 10. ( in the movie it was 10).

The Supra weighed in at soooo much. It was for sale at Dupont,and it had TV's and all kinds of stuff in it. And in the movie, he was looking a 240 SX, and said he had to adjust something and he would run 9's. Yah, sure. A street-legal 240 that doesnt shoot flames and rumble/burp/stutter like a bitch. That movie was crap sometimes.

It was a red one. I believe it only appeared once. When he was eating tuna, and the guys drove up (near the beginning) I'm pretty sure it was a 240, but I'm not at all sure

The Supra that they used in the movie only ran a 12.4 in real life. The car he was racing was a Ferarri 550 Maranello which I believe has a low 12's timeslip in stock form too. That race in reality could have gone either way depending on which car had the better driver. By the way, the guy that owns that Supra put $54K into it - I'd say it's more for show then go even though 12.4 is very respectable for a street car.

Still the Ferarri you can go out and come back with like 3 chicks in the car with you - one sitting on another's lap in the passenger seat, and one sitting on your lap while you're driving. Which would you prefer?

I don't think Ferarri even makes the F355 anymore - it's since been replaced with the 360 Modena (3.6 liter 390 horsepower V8 midmounted) if I'm not mistaken.

The car in the movie was an 355 spider. It was not a 550 Barchetta which you may have mistaken it for. However the only two things they have in common is 1. they are ferrari's and 2 they are convertable. They look nothing like each other.
And yes they do not make the 355 vany more it was replaced by the much better 360. Hands down the 360 is far greater than the 355 has ever been.

I don't care how many times you say it isn't but it is and if you are getting the 355 and the 550 confused you are by far not even close to a true Ferrari enthusiast. Period!
