It was 68 degrees two days ago. Now the ground is covered in snow and its about 28 degrees.

Just learned about a rule imposed by the Illinois Highway Patrol. Since the weather is bad, if you get in an accident and both cars are moveable, you are NOT to call the police, just exchange info and move on. Report it later.

There was a guy on the news who decided to take his mustang with 19" rims out during the heaviest, wettest part of the storm this morning and he's surprised that he slid off the road and is stuck in a snow drift. Pure genius.

Hopefully conditions will be better when I have to leave at noon. I may try to switch cars with my mom today. She has regular all season tires

I just shoveled the front, back, and in front of the garage. Heavy, wet snow... I don't need to hit the gym today. I over-prepared for the cold with layered clothes and now I'm all sweaty. My hoodie probably stinks now :shakehead

Yes, you do, in fact, need a tampon upgrade. And the celica isn't running because it needs to be moving. MR2 and Celica splines are different so we tried to make some hybrid axles but they didn't fit together at all so we're ordering custom axles. This is why noone ever does the s3gte swap with the LSD trans. But I want me some LSD and I will not settle for less.

So I think this is becomming a regular occurance. My car dying on saturday nights and me having to fix it sunday, that is. My distributer died last night leaving me nicely stranded in a parking lot. Luckily there are about 100,000 Hondas around here so I was able to borrow one to get home. 180$ later...

Personally I really don't like WD-40. It's alcohol based so it evaporates. For stuck/rusted stuff I swear by PB Blaster. For squeaky stuff STP silicon spray works wonders. Neither are alcohol based so they don't evaporate. The AG does not have so many automotive uses though. It's water based. <Mumbles something about rust.>

A true Southern mechanic needs only two tools... Duct tape and WD40... if something moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If something doesn't move and it should, use WD40.

And I prefer KY... the warming helps loosen stiff parts...
