Greg could be a talanted photoshooter, but not automotive for sure:) Exterior and interior pictures do not show significant and interesting details at all. That means the lack of technical automotive knowledge. Even static automotive pictures should move imagination.

Jay has great automotive collection. But there's no Ferrari in it. Is it anything personal in between? I haven't got the answere till now. MP4-12C is not a road McLaren (inspired by Gordon). It's very ordinary by everything.

I really don't think the fire was a result of letting it sit. Given the cause was traced to a failed cataltyic_converter that overheated, I don't believe that can really be blamed on lack of use.
That said - my hope for all the cars is that they see some regular use. :)

The owner of #065 and #066 was spotted at the Gooding auction this evening, so there is a small possibility it could be one of his cars instead. More likely the latter chassis number, I would assume given an obvious desire to keep the mileage low on #065.

I don't buy it either. "Mclaren f1 GT"? I think not.
" converted to GT Street Legal by the manufacture"
Besides the terrible English, I doubt they would/could ever convert one to full GT spec; it would virtually be a new car.

Hello! Long time since I've posted anything, but I had a question I was hoping some of you might be able to answer. I've never seen an F1 in person and I'm hoping to change that soon. I'm going to the St Petersburg Festival of Speed this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone knows about the F1's attendance at this event. Has there ever been an F1 at any of the previous events, and if so, do they attend regularly? Fingers crossed that this will be my lucky weekend!

#073 is probably the only likely possibility for the St Petersberg Festival of Speed given its close proximity in Tampa. Mr Wallace's cars haven't been out to an event like that for about 5 years though, so I certainly wouldn't count on it.
#014 did the Palm Beach Supercar Show in 2008. That's the other coast of Florida, north of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

PR Newswire lists Ian MacKechnie as Founder, President and CEO of Amscot Financial and he's not the one. His is also not a name I am familiar with in connection to any F1s. There are other 'McLarens' and also cars that have, in the past, been repeatedly mistaken for an F1 (Mosler, Saleen, Noble even) so without some real proof it is tough to know whether the story is true? :dunno:

Does anyone have a clue as to what chassis number Lawrence Stroll's F1 roadcar might be? That car seems to be a big secret since there is very little info or pictures about it. I wonder if it's 15 years old yet then it will be street legal in Canada and we may be able to see it more.

Is that 959 a real "original," one of Canepa's hybrids, or a phony?

I'd imagine it's a Canepa car.
That photo does show how well resolved and well packaged the F1 design is. Still looks absolutely perfect amongst similar cars.

Interesting in that the rear damper bridge is not gold anodised like most of them.
