Exhaust!!! Pics Included

I got my Apexi World Sport Exhaust on yesterday :)... I would deffinatly recommend this system for any1 who is not a ricer.. It is quiet and deep.. Even when I mash the pedal to the floor it doesn't scream or wail.. It never loses that deep tone and other than the great look it doesnt attract unwanted attention.. I even raced a sho yesterday... I bet the mofo off the line and was a car length ahead till we hit a light and he cut me off... Oh well... He would have killed me in a long race though :rolleyes: . Back to the exhaust... The whole thing is Stainless Steel then the outside is powdercoated to prevent rust and corosion.. The tip is t304 stainless steel... Driving before and after I definatly feel a huge difference.. Of course I have been driving without a muffler for 3 weeks.. However the horsepower and toque gains feel significant.. I drive around the city in d3 so when I hit third I can bring it all the way up and also when I am on hills I need to get up in the higher ranges to produce enough torque to climp the hills.. Overall for the price.. the syle.. the noise level... the performance... I give it a 9.5 out of 10.. Well here are the pictures

Of course... Everything installed was $590.. You could get it done for about $500... It is a cat back exhaust. All stainless and powdercoated with a coating that contains titanium filament (I think thats right)

Looks alot like my DC Sports cat-back, but mine doesn't have powder-coating, and it's a single piece instead of two, and mine has a resonator after the cat.

Thanks guyz.. Yeah actually I havent heard it scream yet... I wish it was a lil loader but it will be once i swap in the modded ZC... :). Not much sound to make with the dx engine and a auto transmission. Now I just need to do the front conversion :). I also got my JDM door panels today :( the asshoel sent me the wrong ones. I ordered the straight black ones black on the top and bottom with the Japanese plaque above the door handle. He sent me this ugly pair with gray on top and black on bottom didn't include the speaker grills and the Japanese plaque was ripped off. This is the auction I got it off I think those would look cool. But no He sent me the wrong ones. I made a KICK ASS flash site for my car a couple months ago, but for some reason, I cannot get it to work right when I post it on my web-page. I've made several flash sites before, and never had this problem before. The syntax in the html code is exactly as it should be, I've double triple checked the flash action script, and found no problems, and there's absolutely no reason it shouldn't work. Anyways, after about 2 months of trying to get it to work, I just gave up and haven't touched it since. :(

As soon as I do, I'll be posting a link though.

Hey man, i wanted to see pics of this exhaust on a car like mine for so long!!! I am glad it doesnt look ricey at all! I have already been through Rice in my 88 DX Auto, now with the 90 Si, i got Sleeper in mind! Well, How much did u buy the catback exhaust system for? I need to get this, and i am glad the belly on the exhaust isnt huge because i had an OBX exhaust on my last car that left the exhaust belly 2" from the ground! AHH! Well, i am very glad you posted pics man, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :)

I have seen my the apexi World sport go for as low as $389 I had my local motorshop order mine for $499 shipped... It was $449 plus $50 shipping plus $65 install... My exhaust is very sleep xcept for the large tip but its not as big as some i have seen.. However people will not hear you coming from miles away its nice, quiet and deep.. I like it alot, Import tuner used that same exhaust on thier 4thgen project car I was wondering about it since its pretty new. I like how low profile the muffer is probaly keeps it from hittin things i'm sure lol. Tip is a little big but ok I like it.

Tommrow if all goes to plan, my car will FINALLY have a Thermal R&D catback on it...pray for me lol.

Yeah personally I did not want a tip this big but I think it looks good so I won't have a muffler shop weld a smaller one on. When I was getting my exhaust on I was praying that I would like it. I mean $590 total for exhaust is pretty expensive.

I actually like the tip, what i am most thankful though is the muffler itself, because of my last muffler, I hated it! it had such a huge belly, well, I found a guy who will sell it to me for 400 shipped. And i can install this myself, its not that hard. I did it on my last exhaust and it came out fine......

I was going to install it myself but didn't want to have to deal with finding a way to through away the old system...

Hey i really like the muffler, its nice and slim not like many i've seen that are with-in an inches of scrapping the gournd... Do you have anymore pictures??? i wouldn't mind seeing a few more..

the apexi w.s. looks great. i've been thinking of getting a apexi w.s., tanabe hyper medalion or greedy sp. how big is the tip, diameter wise? it doesn't look big from your pics. also how low does the mid-pipe hang down from the ground?

Tanabe hyper medalion is no longer being made for our cars..... You can still find them some places but no more are being produced.. Thats the best bet for exhaust. I love my World sport though... I will post some pics here in a second....
