Finished Pics Of Silvia R

Here'e the finished pics for you all to look at and comment on.
Turned out to be a real good kit apart from those Crappy Fujimi wheels that came with the kit.
Only mods were a small lowering job, after market 18" rims and a bigger tip exhaust.
Extra care was taken with the panel lines....if anybody says these are to thick your'e gonna have a grumpy PMan knocking on your front door in the middle of the night looking for ya !!!
:p :p
I tryed the skirts again today and they look like crap....they stick out way to far from the rest of the body.
Be OK if the rest of the car had a big body kit.
I'm even thinking i might pull the rear wing back off as IMO it dont look right either.
Sooooo.....for those who voted for a yellow Silvia, i hope you like it.

Man you finish these things fast!! Looks awesome as usual!! Reminds me of the new Chevy Monte Carlo (maybe it's just the yellow paint).

So...go ahead and start another poll so we can select your next project!! :D

BTW- I thought it was winter in NZ, looks like flowers in bloom by your fence....what gives??

Never cease to amaze us all PMan! Great finish to the car. I noticed you went easy around the door handles; good touch! I always thought they were too thick on your others. :p The only thing I don't like is the way Fujimi makes such unrealistic looking headlights.

Any word on the next one PMan? :D

i dont got the rims roight in front of me and im to lazy to go look at them right now but those look very similar to the gt3 rims are they? and very nice job i love the colors and the wing looks nice too i think u should keep it, but i think those panle lines are a bit on the thick side,

Once again i stand in awe of the PMan...

IMHO smoked headlights would have looked better, like DJMR2 mentioned.... and skirts...... arrrgh..

This is definately one of your best yet IMO. Whatever you did diferently with the panel lines, it worked, they look alot more realistic. I dont think u should be too concerned with the wing, it looks good to me!

What Fujimi kit was this again?

Pman! You are a machine! God Damn you're fast! There's one thing bugging me though...the headlights. I know you don't want to hear my shite regarding what you 'should' do with your models b/c they're yours, but this might help. Paint the headlight housings black. Check some pics of actual Silvia's and you'll see. Just my opinion. If you want me to shut the hell up, I'll respectfully do so! :D

Great job P-man:) One question, does the chrome yellow give a metallic effect or does it give more of a pearl effect to the body? I'd like to know cause I'm thinking of using chrome yellow, but don't know how it's like. Thanks.

wow. your work is has impressed me all over again. I think the panel lines look a lot better when it's a bit thinner. so good job again, but i think the side skirts look kind of funky. I also think the headlights look a bit funny.....but everything else looks great...
