I live in Europe and I was able to put about 10kUS$ together in the last 10 months. Now I'm thinking about getting an Nissan. As I know some mechanics I can save a lot on installations.
Plan #1:
Buy this 1994 200SX (comes with 200hp stock SR20DET) for 8kUS$
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/824106S39c71a9440aa3.jpg
put a S15 front and some aerokit on it. Increase boost to J-Spec standard (from 0.5 to ~0.9bar).
Plan #2: I buy a 1990 to 93 200SX (comes with the CA18DET) for 4kUS$
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/869001200SX_CA18DET.jpg
make a SR20DET swap and also equip it with S15 front and some aero.
My problem is I'm on budget, living in Switzerland (have to import quite everything) isn't very helpfull in that case. And I actualy dislike the backview of the '94 200SX compared to '90 version and S15.
So does anyone in Europe did something like this before or those someone know what costs I have to expect to the swap considering an import from outside Europe?
BTW I thaught about repainting it to an arctic darkblue that shines brighter when the sun hits it:cool:
Any suggestions are welcome.

I got an offer from Heavy Throttle they would do a special delivery for me but they are asking almost 6000 US$ for a complete S15.

After heavy E-Mail exchange with Heavy Throttle Performance I ended up like this:
Probably getting a '93 200SX (hatch) for cheap, get a SR20DET pulled out of a domestic 200SX (coupé) with low mileage and having only to import the front end (looks) conversion
As for the engine differences between S14 and S15: If I wanted exactly an S15 engine I'd had to replace the 370cc injectors with 480cc and get the S15 turbo (although even the turbo is quite the same but to exchange those parts (like turbine wheel) would be simply stupid) and go for aftermarket turbo to get the engine to stable and satisfying 240~280hp sounds good eh?:bandit:

i've seen a photo of a 'strawberry face' S13/15 in japan and it looked cool. its pretty easy to get that sort of power, if you can find a GTiR turbo they're a good bolt on, more lag but the bigger turbine/housing makes them good for up to around 300hp.

Heard of it but I'm not in to too much hp. Many want those magical 300 but I don't care I just want a good car and as little as possible. Can you post the picture and do you know who did the conversion? 'cause I'm still searching for the cheapest way to get my conversion. Europe market sucks for Nissan:(
