Spreading the word

Hi people, I have recently started my own car talk forum based in Fredonia NY, and I am not too sure how get the word out.
I put up flyers around campus, but I need to spread the word online as well, how can I do this?
I need some tips. Thanks:D

ooh, that is harsh. Is it really bothering you that much, for me to have a little plug in my sig.? I'm just starting out give me a break, peace.
