I'm not sure if they do? I don't go there anyways or any import shops anymore.

Hey Daniel, long time no see....I have no idea if Drivers Image has one, I got the impression they would, since they seem pretty big. I dunno, I dont get out much! :D

Well, when Greg moved Driver's Image to McCormick, it was his intention to get an in-shop dyno...
I haven't been there myself recently...

driver's image does not have one, unless they got one within the last 6 hours since i dropped my car off there. :what:

i've never had any work done on my car by them, what would you guys say about those guys there?

if driver's image is expensive, apg is out of this world. apg was gonna charge almost twice as much to install a supercharger. damn if i had time on my hands to do this stuff on my own, i'd save so much money. at least they're knowledgable, according to what you guys say.

Yeah. Greg and the crew do know their shit. You might get charged your first born son to use the knowledge though:D j/k

Hey Del, is your SH the purplish silverish one? I see that car out in front all the time, but I don't know who owns it.

are you talkin about driver's image or apg. driver's image was workin on my car for a while. i haven't been to apg in months. i have a cousin who had his si turbocharged at apg and they messed it up. so i don't really trust them. my car's silver with a black widow kit. i don't know if you'd call it "purplish"

I'm talking about DI. I think yours is the car I've been seeing. I could be imagining the purpleish part. I'm a little senile:rolleyes: I need to see it again. I havent been past DI in a while since i'm in Florida at school. Do you roll with some dude that drives a 98ish M3?

I at least remember racing one night with the silver SH, a 98ish M3, and a 00 Accord V6 coupe. All modded.

(I got whooped by all but the Accord) :(

Yeah i heard about that. I actually been told they messed up 3 or 4 si's that they turbo charged? They also told me that when they went back...to ask them to fix it ..apg told them its not there problem? Thats why u guys gotta learn how to install things urself cause u can trust urself in doing it and saves a whole lot of money. I don't really like anyone touching my car but me. :)

well i know someone with a 96 M3 but i doubt that we're talkin about the same thing.

and mellowboy, i agree that i would rather work on my car myself but i, and a lot of other guys dont' have that kind of time on their hands. i work 50+ hours a week and all i want to do when i get home is crash on the couch. my weekends are also usually booked so i can't spend hours workin on my car. but i do want my car to go faster and look better, so i have no choice but to leave it in the hands of others.

Yeh they do charge alot for there products. There service......? Well my friend took his car to get his exhaust on ..custom piping and it took them nearly 8 HOURS to finish it!!! My other friend took his gsr in and they installed a cat back system for his ride and his v-tec didn't work...cause they didn't plug the o2 sensor back in!! It just bad service there man.

Ouch... too bad for APG. I guess I won't be going there except for trinkets(sp?). You see... That's why I would consider Garage Kwai out in phuggin Arlington Height for serious engine mods... That is, if I choose to... I just don't know where to go for engine work (stuff like P&P).

Any of you guys check out Slingshot Motorsports???

I know their techs are all dealer trained mechanics, so I'm guessing the quality is there.......

When I was there the prices were not bad at all, I was actually surprised by it.

LOL

Of course not, they are a speed shop, not an online catalog. It is comming, the site is new, and something tossed together to at least have a presence on the net.

I would suggest a phone call or stopping in to talk to Steve or Bobby.
