Hey, im curious, how are Rota brand wheels? Are they knockoffs, or pretty reputable and *real deal*. Of course Volk and RH are on some next level. But are Rotas a good way to go for the price?? Thanks

Rota wheels are fine. They are good quality and you don't have to shell out big money for them.:)

rota wheels have been around a long, long time. i've always regarded them as a good manufacturer, and for the price i dont think you can overlook them. i like the mugen MF-8 replicas except they arent available in different offsets like the real mugens. that's not to say i wouldn't buy them, if they do ever make a MF-10 replica i'll be all over that in a heartbeat. which ones were you looking at specifically?

Rota is more of a "replica" company than a knock-off... they dont make "look a likes", but manufacture their wheels to look exactly like what they're copying.
the only complaint i've ever heard is that some of their designs are weak due to metal softness... all of their wheels are cast aluminum, and not spun or forged like the ones they copy.

Rota's are decent... The other biggest thing Ive noticed about them... (I have a set of C8's) The powercoat on them arent the toughest.. So I dont know how long they will stay looking good. I hit the center of the rim when I taking one off, I didnt hit it very hard, and it took a little chip out of the powdercoating.. But You cant really complain about that since you get what you pay for.. There arent many decent, fairly light weight 15 inch wheels that you can buy for $410 a set...

you really do get what ya paid for but for replica wheels i would really consider them pretty good seeing as you can get 4 spoon replica for the price of one "real deal" spoon rim plus most people probably couldent notice the difference
