New Years Resolution

So........whats everyones resolution for 2002?

hmm....i guess mines to do better in school, and i have a goal of getting a car......

so, how bout everyone else?

get accepted to the college of my choice...:rolleyes:

getting a better job and using the huge amount of money i make from that job to buy an H22....mmmmm....H22

I gave up on New Year's resolutions years ago. I always gave in after about 3 months...

I guess I could resolve to keep my car clean since I'd be doing that anyway!

Getting a job other than working at my dad's shop (not as though I wanna leave...I can choose when I wanna work when I'm there!)
And uh, save money instead of spending it as soon as I get it :D

Save atleast $5000 and get accepted to Massey University at Aukland, or U of Aukland.

My resolution: have fun and enjoy life--you only get one chance.

New yrs resolutions, I have 3. I never end up following through with them, but here they are.

1. Get a social life, and try to overally enjoy life more.

2. Lose weight

3. Follow through with #1, and #2 :D

my resolution for 02 is to follow through on my resolutions last year, and the year before last, and the year before that, and so on. i like to finish what i started so i'm a little behind on my resolutions. so no new resolutions for me til i follow through on my past ones first.:sun:

True, true. Life is truly what you make it. My quality of life is so much better now because I took the initiative to get out and do more. The fun's not gonna find you, you have to find the fun! Like I'm learning to snowboard and meeting cool people on the mountain.

This will probably be my last year off playing top level football so i hope to have a really good season before retiring to play in the socal team(over 30's) next year.

Nah, but mine is to FINALLY get my demo recorded so that I can get my singing career on track! THEN, I can meet Tangie <<double-sigh>> :hehehe:

1) Hit .400 in my upcoming baseball season

2) Better my golf game

3) Get my Cobra into the mid to lower 12's

Last year I wanted to lose about 50 pounds. Well, it looks like its about 35 that I dropped. So this year I have to go for another 20 or so to make up for it.

I resolve to NOT make any more resolutions :p That way none get broken and I don't fail. just kidding.

Well I have gotten a headstart on the usual ones like lose weight, get excercise, yadda yadda yadda:

Alex and I have been going to the gym 4 nites a week for almost a month now :) We're both feeling alot better.

Every year I resolve to eat better...I've been trying to pick the healthiest items on the menu when we eat out. Also, as goodies have rolled into the office for CHristmas, I have decided to only take a taste instead of a serving....so far so good :p

Now for other stuff I need to work on:

1. Get on a better sleep schedule.
2. Work a little harder on my design program studies.
3. Treat myself better.
4. Be the best person I can be to family, my hunny and friends. My family's been good to me, being with Alex is like Valentine's Day everyday, and the group of friends we have are the best friends we've had...if these were the only friends I have in this lifetime, I would be happy to have had them in my life.
5. Keep up on stuff in the office and around the house...it's not a pig sty but sometimes things pile up, making for more work to do when I get around to it.
6. Quit procrastinating..see #5 :p

My New Year's Resolution: Less Bodies!:mad:

Try and sweet talk Saturntangerine into coming to New Zealand ;) If that don't work get out and have more fun this year since I am single again.

Another resolution: Get more damn money!!!:mad:

Funny thing is I am serious about Saturn though :)

True... also maybe she would want to stay in New Zealand. After all this country is so clean and awesome! Hence my reason for staying after my split up.

I think they give people not so much a good reason to turn over a new leaf and better themselves as they provide an opportunity to make excuses not to better themselves on a daily basis (which IMO is what you are really striving for and is what you should be serious about). Actually the he is making a good choice. It also gives him the opertunity to see New Zealand which is a good thing as NZ is such a great culture and country to visit.

mine is to beat my friend in a race cus we both have WRX's and i souped mine up nice and we r gonna have a 1/4 mile race and i wanna win. my WRX has 395hp his has 403hp.

I think THAT would be a race worth seeing....:D

Personally i'd think it'll be cool to go to a school overseas. They have a lot of those programs set up here for exchanges too.

It'll be cool, see different people and places. Learn new cultures. As for myself, I wouldn't mind going to a Japanese, British, or NZ uni for a quarter or two.

And Jimmy, yea.. I guess im a yank... By your tems, not by mine. Here in the Southern US we call northern US people Yanks, and I live in Kentucky, kinda on the line. Most KY people call them self southerners though:confused:
