New Year Sucks This Year For Me

Well the PMan has drawn the short straw at work and has to start work on the 31 December starting at 11pm. :mad: :mad:
So new year this year will be spent at work........God that has PISSED ME OFF !!!!!!!

I'll probably be the first to post on AF for the year 2002 because NZ is the first country to see the new year.......yippie :rolleyes:

No party...no beer :mad: :mad: :mad: ...no new year kisses !!!! :mad: :mad:

Well on the bright side.....i have christmas day off but work boxing day.

....jeez...i am sorry to hear that man....that really bites.....:(

well mine is going to suck as well but not to the extent of yours. my gramps is getting remarried so my whole family is flying to central illinios in a little POS pudunk town. :mad: :( :mad: but i feel a little better now i heard your situation. :)

yea ill prolly have to work too :mad: but ill make a shit load of money and still drink and get kisses from all the waitresses :D

Well, you are not the only one, PMan. My other pt.time job [was full time over the summer] [Utility Operator, for recovery boilers at the local paper mill] everyone else for the position has the whole week off as well as many others. It will be a skeleton crew week, and I will end up working like a slave. Starting boxing day, until Jan 3rd, I will be working 12hr night shifts, like it or not. If something screws up royally there, I have no idea what we are going to do, I will probably get a crash course in millrighting :mad: :(

So at the start of the new yr, while everyone is partying it up, I will be drenching in sweat, doing the 1/2 shift ash pull, shovelling hot ash out of the recovery boilers :mad:

Im not overly impressed about it either.

That doesnt sound like a whole lot of fun. :(

Hmm...New Years. Yes, that is coming up, isn't it? I think I'll probably head over to a party being held by a friend of mine, and his roommates, from back home. Of course, staying home and enjoying a nice bath would be probably be much more pleasant. I've never been one for celebrating the incoming of the New Year. I just enjoy waking up every morning (well, most days ;) )

There's no deliverys on Christmas day, (Kiwis, DONT BY BREAD ON X-MAS day, it will be old and stale, and dont buy it on Boxing day either, it will have been baked on X-mas eve. :) ) But they are delivering and baking right through New years, However the guy I drive for has always been happy to work the new years If I give him the week off striaght after X-mas. :D

So yes on New years I will be drinking and enjoying myself somewhere, and I might even have someone to kiss............ :cool:
