You do that's good because that's exactly what Honda wants. Raise up the interest before the new revamped models comes out.

Honda owns Acura here in North America, but they don't use the Acura name in Japan. Most of the Acura cars you can buy here are Honda cars in Japan.
There are subtle differences, though. The last NSX had side markers in Japan, but had cornerlights in America. Otherwise, they're exactly the same.

How should I say it?
Acura is just a brand name Honda made for people concern with status symbols. Nobody will ever pay a 80K Honda NSX in North America. It's a sub division withing the North American Honda. Just like what Lexus and Infiniti is. Oh yeah did I mention it only exsist in North America.

They didn't touch the engine at all.
Changes are CoEfficient Drag from .32 down to .30 therefore increase the top speed from 167 mph to 175 mph.
Also change are stationary HID unit plus enlarge tire size and parts of the suspension unit.

Ryan,
If Honda seriously wants their so-called "halo" sports car to compete successfully (especially in sales and then in performance) against the likes of Ferrari (F420), Porsche (997 and 998), Lamborghini (Gallardo), Corvette (C6), Viper (SRT-10), Ford (GT40)...they will need to, first and foremost:
1. upgrade the engine with a V8 400+hp powerplant or some super-duper IMA V6
then they should:
2. offer 18 or 19 inch performance tires
3. re-design that interior
4. offer a CD
5. add a touch of Pinninfarina or Donckerwolke style to the body
Yearly sales of 300 NSX's in the US is abysmal to say the least. I know of 1 local Acura dealer that has never sold even 1 new NSX. Not one in 10 years. That's unbelievable. If Honda doesn't inject more hp into the engine then I say retire the NSX gracefully.
Magazine articles, Internet sites and Acura salesperson rumours all point to a 2004 release of the next gen NSX, with the majority saying a V8 engine will be included in the package. Lets hope since Honda is very tight lipped on their NSX plans.
All comments are welcome.

I still think the NSX looked better with hide-away headlights. It made the bodylines seem smoother and the overall shape of the front end better. I hope they go back to them in the future. I don't think those headlights look to great the way they are now. That blue is a damn nice color though.

I think Honda knows themselves that they are losing money in the NSX. IMO, Honda sees the NSX like an investment, in which they put money and R&D into every decade. Every so often, they'll put superior advancements to the car that the 'exotic' manufacturers wish that they thought of in the first place.
Honda uses the NSX as testing ground, kind of the middle plane b/t their F1 technology and road going cars.
As for the V8?
I doubt it. The C32B is 'basically' [I use that term lightly, as Honda can push it as for as they want; look at the 3.5L JGTC NSXs] untouched by Honda. Once the 'hp restriction' is lifted from Japan, then Honda will start working with the C32B, and don't be surprised if, like jmsc said, it comes with an IMA package.
But all we can do know is look for the 2004 model. I'm keeping my faith that Honda will surprise us again, and make Ferrari go back to the drawing boards.
Anyways, Cheers!
