my parents own an Azimut 450, a custom boat they asked the owner of Azimut to build, 450 ft long. it has a family room, bar, jacuzzi, 4 full bathrooms, 5 bedrooms 1 master bed, full size kitchen, dining room, TV room, a bridge and two Rolls-Royce turbine engines that bring the big baby up 2 55 knots tops. i dunt have any good pcs rite now but ill b goin down in april, so ill be able then 2 show that big boat. do any of u own a power yacht?

55 knots for a 450 footer? It better have RR turbines off a 777. Sometihng doesn't add size-wsie. A 450 foot boat should have 5x times the numbers of rooms you stated.

For reference the Titanic was 882 ft. had a Swimming pool gym, shitloads of rooms, a hella nice staircase and room left over for engines and storage. If your power yacht is half the size, I expect at least half the stuff, or at least a tennis court on it or something.

Even the largest's of Azimut-Benetti's yards can only produce a 168 foot hull, a complete Azimut is only able to reach 115 feet. The Azimut line features models ranging from 39-100 feet with nothing in between involving 45, 450 or 4.5, there is a 46, but two typos in the same three letter word is a 66% failure rate which isn't good either.

I'm in some real need of explanation here.

With boat's it's kinda exponential, a 450 footer is probably somewhere north of 100 million, like planes. A Cessna Citation X is some 7 million or so, while a 747 if you need one is some 143 million.

Maybe Chaser's got one of those too.

It is absolutely NOT fair to make someone laugh the way you guys are making me laugh! I am trying to get away with reading these boards at work when I occasionally have some time between calls, or am stuck on hold. And then I just HAVE to go onto Automotive Forums, and happen to see one thread by Chasertourv...curious, I can't help but open it, only to see the sad/funny topics which are unbelievable. And I read on, to see not only the debunkers who furiously research and rip down these claims, but the often sarcastic and witty repotoire that follows. And I commence to laugh.

This is the best ChasertourV post so far. I was laughing as soon as I saw the very first description of the "450 ft" yacht. I know Saddle River to be an upscale neighborhood, with houses ranging up to 14,000 square feet and $13 million. My neighborhood has houses ranging OVER $25 million. And yet there is only ONE 200+ foot yacht that even comes into town from Europe in the winters. A 450 foot yacht wouldn't even be able to park at many marinas, due to draft and dock limitations.

There is a guy living down the street from me who owns two Ferrari 360s, a 360 Challenge, a brand new yellow Enzo (delivered last week from Shelton Ferrari), an F40 (check the value of those), and a purple Lamborghini. His kid has a Porsche Cayenne. He has a private helecopter. His house is 10,000 Sq ft, with 8-12 car garage and separate guest house. You might say he is ridiculously loaded. And he owns a 162 ft Feadship, which is so huge it looks like a damn condo turned on its side. With all that money he has, he doesn't have a yacht that size. Hmmm.

Oh, by the way, the 6th largest yacht in the entire world, owned by Saudi billionaire Nashir Al Rashid, is the Lady Moura. Built in 1991 by Blohm and Voss in Hamburg, Germany, it has a crew of 100. Oh, and it is 345 feet long. 6th largest yacht in the world! What's worse for chasertourv, is that the Lady Moura happens to be the largest privately-owned motoryacht in the entire world. The 5 that are larger are owned by cruise lines and countries. So unless my recent Yachting magazine has yet to be updated with the new owner from Saddle River New Jersey upstaging the Saudi billionaire, King Faud, Queen Elizabeth II, and the Sultan of Brunei with a superyacht more than 100 feet longer than anything they own (I think that would make the cover of most magazines)...I'd have so say, sadly, :bs:
