Very nice work P-man, personally I like the blue one better, im not a yellow person, but i think that the spoiler from the yellow one, would look very nice on the blue one (just paint the yellow spoiler blue) but thats just my 2 cents. beutiful work, you still have the best models i have ever seen.

Your work says everything for you.
Ver nice!

Very nice, everybody has a different opinion, I think panel lines look good on anything. Some darker colors don't need them though.

But for the people who don't like them imagine the car without panel lines, it would look so blank! :screwy:

Hey Pman love your cars as always.

Which technique do you use on your panel lines.

The marker method or the water down paint and wipe the extra off method.

very very nice job, and yellow! you don't see yellow everyday (usually blue, black, or silver  ) I think the panel lines work well with the paint, it looks a little more real.

Well spotted Chris !!
They are unpainted as i just liked the look of them. Right colour to suit the car IMO so they were left.

Stump....the kit only comes with the 2 front one's to drill out.

Steve...Thats for pointing that out and doing them. I tossed up if i should have done them or not, ....you just made up my mind !!

Beautifull model (as always). I only have a little problem: in the progress thread I can't see the attached images, they simply don't load. When you used the [img] etc .... code for images I can see them but the ones that are simply attached don't show up anymore.

I don't think it has anything to do with my pc (I could always see them before and I got the same effect on my pc at work). Anyone else have this problem?

well for the fisrt time i'm not impress with the Pman work :iceslolan sure it look quite well, but the yellow paint give a look of toy.. maybe it's reflection, but the front look a bit under-average work from the legend Pman.. you can also see the front panel line being not good (shaky hand ?) on the pasager side.

anyway i really love the blue one, so it's probably just the color :bigthumb: as always, I would love to have a perfect paint job likte that.... ahhh maybe one day

Hey P-man--The blue R34, what kit is that? I have the yellow R34 kit, but I would love to add the blue one to my collection as well. Something about the duct on the hood. I'd like onw without.
BTW----Great job on your cars!
Have you done a how to on getting the panel lines blackend?
Chris:bigthumb:

God|Zilla168
08-10-2003, 02:56 AM
The blue r34 is the tamiya skyline r34 v spec while the yellow one is the vspec II both can still be purchased. I think the normal vspec is just a few dollars cheaper

God|Zilla168--Is that kit number 24210?
I hae kit 24258.
And hey, thanks for answering my question, much 'preciated!

the colour very much.

73superduty

If you want the normal r34 and not the vspec II you can just filled the turbo scope on the hood with some putty. This way you still have the extra disc rake and wheel and wing to work with.

Just my suggestion

Basiclly the stock r34 vspec does not have the turbo scope and the gt style wing along with the drlled out disc brake and ray rims.

Thanks Bro, I'd like to have one of each version, great suggestion though.

first of all- the model looks excellent! great job as always. :bigthumb:

I think a lot of you guys with the light colored Skylines need to outline the headlights with a black permanent marker or semi-gloss black etc..
give a more realistic look.

I for one would really like to see p-man bust out a big project like a SAS conversion or engine swap or something. :smokin:

Nice!!! well done.. yes i think maybe outline the headlights as blueboost said can make it a 10/10 car! (now i rate it 9.8/10) but otherwise just as good as your other models always are!!!!

yeah don't know why, even though i like yellow cars (and drives a yellow car) but i like the blue R34 a bit more...
