O.K, you've shown us the pics, so what about the details? New engine? New design suspension? Safety innovations? Provide more info or at least a link! Thanks!

they typically use the older engines for a few years, so the new 3er's will use the m54s for the time being. . .

Bummer. They are losing their BMW character. The kidney grille's are not enough. Does anyone else think the new 5 series looks like a Camry, actually?

I've been a big BMW fan for years, but this new "flame surface" design or whatever its called just isnt agreeing with my stomach. Whats with those fugasi horn-rimmed corners??? I cant talk much though. Look at the current Civic and Accord sedan:disappoin

The sedan version is the same picture as the other wagon it has just been photoshoped, i must say that it is very well done though. I think some of the wagon has been photoshoped as well. Where did you get these pictures?

:wtf:
Those pics don't look like something Jim McDowell took with a digital camera. They look an awful lot like press release photos by BMW, taken in Spain by a professional photographer on a location shoot. There certainly isn't any terrain in Zurich that quite looks like that desert mountain backround.
Anyway, Jim is a good guy. Say hello to him for me next time he stops by your house...my father is an old school buddy of his.

I agree with the AUDI comment above... I'm in the market right now for an E39 528i or 530i stepping up from my current E36 318is. My attempt to grasp what's left of what's left of a great BMW. 3 or 4 years ahead, when I'd have to swich over for something newer.. I'm afraid I'd have to get an Audi or Mercedes. Probably an Audi -- they're more tunner-friendly.
I can design better then Chris :loser: Bangle when I was still in High School. Who put that dumb good for nothing idiot :screwy: as head of design at BMW AG.
I signed numerous petitions to fire that redneck (no offence to anyone who considers them selves one).
Bottom line, YOU ARE WHAT YOU DRIVE!... I hate to be the ugliest oversized Hyandai driver.
Please, do not confuse my critics with engineering of the BMW's... Even under all that waste of molded metal lies a perfectly engineered vehicle.

Thats kind of ugly. I hate how the headlights go up.
Chis Bangle has done nothing but ugly things since he's started there. I think he's some spy or something for Audi or MB, and he's trying to ruin the great company that BMW is. :disappoin
