Anybody never received there HLJ order ?

Anybody never received there HLJ order ?

My order is shipped since 27 days now. with the weekend, it will be 30 days. I'm from canada and for what I have read here, it usualy take 2 or 3 weeks max.

HLJ awnser me with this:

If more than double the maximum number of days shown on our shipping page (http://www.hlj.com/faq/q12.html) passes and your order has not yet arrived by August 9, please tell us and we'll be glad to help.


Damn, maybe i will receive my june order for chrismass ? 60 days is really more that what I expected from them. :loser:

I just received my order today.

it took 30 days to receive by SAL (over 1 month since I ordered and everything was in stock)

Price of my order was 73$CND and I payd 16$ of custom/dutty fees.

a quick look at the date show it took 10 days in the custom department before it get released for delivery. so HLJ is not the problem, it's the custom department.

Oh it is sad to hear this, fellow. Btw I am from Toronto, and I nerver have any business problem with HLJ for two years. May be they are stuck in the custom. It is better to send them an email.:smile:

Vric, I found that the time HLJ used to mail is longer than other Japanese seller to my country, Hong Kong. I am using SAL.

I ordered from HLJ twice and they shipped in small parcel (just some rims). My first order took 15 days, and the second time it used 9 days, and I never order from them again.

The third time I changed to another seller in Japan and the parcel is much BIGGER than ( I bought 22 kits :icon16:) HLJ order. And it only takes me 6 days to get it.

It seems the post office HLJ used may have many "hubs" routes before the parcel is on the flight.

The way I count the days used is from the date I received their confirmation of shipped the parcel until they arrived at home

I have a thought you may have to wait for 1 more month......how many items in your order?

hmmm, did they say your order will be shipped by UPS or SAL?

If it is SAL, then those "Fine Surfacer" may make your parcel be shipped by ship (not flight) because the spray may not be allowed to be on flight. I think you need to write them an email in serious tone.

I have pay for SAL shipping and not surface.. is there any way I can tell if it's surface or SAL when I will (if I did) receive the package ?

if they send this by surface, they will need to refound me !

for my first order with HLJ, I must tell i'm very desapointed and probably won't order from them anymore

ivw ordered something from japan and it tooik 1 week and a half.

np Vric. I know how you feel as you keep awaiting for the parcel for a month already.

I appreciate the nice packaging HLJ uses. However, the time they spend on shipping is abnormally long. :mad:

:iagree: I am from Toronto also; :biggrin: My "normal" waiting time for a SAL shippment is 28 working days. The longest time I waited was two months!

Let's not to forget:

Any package's value over $40CAD is subject to taxation :frown: That means: the package may have to sit in the customs for couple of days, and inspectation time is extra if needed.

I shipped EMS once, I received my order from Pulator 5 days later, which was great! But, shipping cost was two time more expensive than SAL :frown:
Few days after I received that package, I got a mail from PBB logistic regarding the EMS shipment:----Surface charge, brokage fee, taxes............
Too expensive! Don't even try unless it is real urgent! :frown: :frown: :frown:

I live in Canada and have never waited more than 2 weeks for my order from HLJ shipped SAL. It looks like you ordered spray surfacer which will have to be shipped surface as stated above. That is very likely the delay.

i ordered from hlj 2 weeks ago and is till havnt got an email saying how much i owe them

yea I know.. i'm ready to pay ~ 19$Cnd of dutty.. no problem there

Vric, so HLJ has already charged your credit card???

I've been lucky enogh not to have any trouble when ordeing from them and have found them to be really good.

send them an email, :thefinger them, and ask them until what time you do not receive the parcel, then you can get a refound.

this is what i did.. they say I need to wait August 9th before they can help me.. then they will work something for me. So I need to wait 60 days before getting help...

i'm really not pleased with HLJ so far.
