A little update on the Focus. Sorry for the bad light in the pics.

The undercarriage is almost done and the body painted, although not polished at all yet.

that's the color i'm lookin' for! what color is that (it's blue.. duh) and who makes it? eeeeek i hope it isn't airbrush only... i'm too cheap for a airbrush :(

The blue is Tamiya TS51 from the spray can.

a quick update on the Focus progress. I fancied something quick and simple inbetween the Subaru and the Supra's, so this is completely box stock.

That blue is amazing. I personally prefer the Martini colors...but I may have to rethink it...or I could build both.:bigthumb:

Awesome work! How long did you spent putting on the decals?

The decals aren't too bad really. Less complicated than most I think and there are not too many funny curves and stuff when doing the larger ones.

Saying that though, they have been done over a couple of days, not really because they need to be, just because I tend to have 10 mins modelling time every once in a while, rarely get the chance to just sit down and crack on.

Hoping the model will be finished tomorrow (then the time I have been waiting for - SUPRA's) and if its OK out, will post some pics.

Ahhh, couldn't resist!!
Still need to paint the door handles, add mirrors and give it a good clean but most work is done now.

Thanks for the comments. Was gonna get some pics out today but it is p*****g down!

Yeah, had a problem with the indicators, the red seemed to melt the orange that was already done. Think I will strip it and do it again.

As for the towel rail, thats my jacuzzi (aint I posh?), the only room with proper light in my house, the rest is all dim and cozy.
