my wife came into my hobby room today and said "you have alot of junk in your spare parts box. why don't you do something with it" ........ hmmmm she got me thinking. lets make a model. i decided to really put my skill to the test. this project is gunna take rejects, and messed up parts from about 6 or 7 different models (that should have went in the trash a long time ago), and turn that heap into a fully custom show ride. so buckle up... this one is gunna get bumpy.. lets start with the pics from day one...
lets start with the heap of junk

I think it really is time for you to be introduced to styrene sheets and strips. It would have saved you HOURS of pain staking sanding and filling and give you "sharper edges" looking more detailed. I give you a 10 on imagination though, what a way to recycle!:D ;)

This is your parts bin. This is your parts bin on whatever suicideclipse is smoking, inhaling, injecting, or drinking.
But at least you're getting the good stuff. This thing is going to be so incredibly wild when completed. And we need different stuff on these boards sometimes. Wakes everybody up.

hay guys.. thanks for all the positive feedback. i agree this thing is a little out there but hay, so am i.. lol
mean_b16 - take a look at the progress again.. i used a ton of styrene on this project.. the only thing that i used the bondo for was to create the fender flares.. i whould have used the styrene on those, but if you take a look at the first couple pics, you will see that there was already a slight flare to the bed. i used the bondo to fill in all the gaps. the tailgate assembly was compleatly made out of styrene (the origianal is missing in action).
well keep the coments coming in, i love hearing them.....
