I think this time they finally will. There will be over 1000 vehicles in the game so the chances are more than likely.

I highly doubt that they did. Ferrari and Lambo are both in the Need For Speed series, so I doubt they need to be in another game. And they haven't been in the last 3 so it would be kind of odd if they were in 4 all of a sudden. There are plenty of other brands of cars out there to choose from that would be more then happy to be put into a game.

I really would like to see them in there though.:D I just doubt that it will happen.:(

holy fishsticks batman. that looks good, look at the track selection screen, much more attractive and nice looking then GT3. looks like it has better locations too, like a city and a desert.i hope the tune ups will be just a little more thorough, and detailed. like actual brands on parts would be nice, and maybe more variation in the series so they wont be as boring.

On the subject of Lamborghini being included in the GT4 release, i am not so sure this will happen...

There was, until very recently, a software developer based in Liverpool, UK, called Rage. Sadly, the receivers were recently called in to wind the company up, but the big news is that Microsoft has expressed an interest in the company. This would indicate to me that if the Microsoft purchase of the company goes ahead, and the game reaches fruition, it would be a PC/X-Box release only.

YellowMaranello is also right; i can't see the developers of the highly successful, (in the UK, at least), Need for Speed series losing the license to use the Ferrari and Lamborghini name.

Stranger things have happened tho'...

You must keep in mind that the next NFS game is based around street racing, Toyotas, Hondas etc, no Lambos, Porsches or Ferraris... :)

exactly. they have shitty little no speed cars (sry. i hope nobody takes offense to this) like the Mini Cooper and the damn suzuki shit cars (minus the Escudo) and they cant put a damn Chevy Cavalier? or how about the new Silvarado SS? the SSR to name another. and to make all hell break lose, the Geo Metro!!!!!:D

GT4 will be a PS2 release only, car total has been brought down to like 500 and tracks to around 100 variations, but still :eek:

Ya for sure GT4 will (should) be a success, seems like they've learned over the years, this will be a both quality and quantity release, in other words combining best of all worlds from the past series. It's also intriguing to note that the graphics are absolutely stunning, i hope the physics are as good with a wheel too. It's impressive that the game will be pushing such gfx on a ps2 considering the ps2 is not that great piece of hardware compared to the latest computers, the xbox and gamecube who are hardware-wise far more capable of. I can't wait for GT4 looks very promising. I am a mad fan of GT3 :P

I sure hope GT4 gets more bimmers even more then gt2... i wish for the 850csi and stuff.. hmm ya :P more bimmers plz :P

Having the 8 seiries would be pretty awesome. Maybe they'll get some M cars too. Maybe they can get the M8..... That would be soooo awesome.:D

I think it would be badass if they put some Cadillacs or Pontiacs in the line-up. Sporting around in a tricked out Eldo would be sweet, or the new CTS or the prototype car with a V16! No crap dudes, It is gonna have something like 900-1000 hp STOCK! Or a tuned Gran Prix or Trans AM would rule. And Lets not forget the 340hp GTO coming out soon...

it's just a concept they said it'll never reach actual producton, they just wanna show what they're capable of. but yeah they need to throw some maximas and shit in there too. i'm pretty sure i remeber maximas in GT2

1000 cars? 500 tracks? Ill believe it when I see it. I didn't care enough to beat GT3 because it was too damn long and frivolous. Now they are just being ridiculous.

The 500 tracks are probably 30 complicated tracks split into different layouts (Seattle Curcuit and Seattle Short for example) to make 500 "different" tracks.

1000 cars? Are you gonna have to put in a new disc for every manufacturer?

I just hope its just the same good ol racing game. As long as the Sylvias and Skylines are in it ill be happy... and hopefully some porsches...944 turbo:bigthumb:
