Online Model Contest - Dozens of prizes

Now's your chance to win one of several great, prize packages. PCModeler.com is having a Hollywood inspired online model contest. This is your opportunity to build any subject portrayed in a movie or television series. Whether it be the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard, Pappy Boyington's Corsair from Baa Baa Black Sheep or the Enterprise from Star Trek. Any subject as it appeared on-screen.
There will be first, second and third place prize packages offered in the following categories: Aircraft, Armor, Automotive, Figures, Nautical, Science Fiction and Other. Prizes consist of everything from model kits to aftermarket parts to decals and more.
The contest will start on May 26th and end September 1st with contest results to be announced on September 14th.
We are also looking for prize donations. Donators will recieve banner placement on pcmodeler.com until October 1st, as well as credit in any emails/announcements made in regards to the contest. Please contact me at [email protected] in regards to any prize donations. Some of our Donators already include Scale Coachworks, Mundo Hobby, Starship Modeler and Racin' Resins.

Fantastic idea, now I can get atleast one model finished !

Oh, and can't you just post a fourth picture , where the real model is seen on film , so everybody can see what the idea was ?

Good idea about the 4th picture. In some cases, I may require submission of a photo so that I can see the subject as it actually appeared on screen.

Sounds like a blast.... Just got an idea for one when I picked up a DVD last week, too. :thinkerg: Just gotta meet the deadline... :eek: :o
