ABS Light came on - passenger rear wheel locking up

Out of no where - the ABS Light came on and my rear passenger side wheel started locking up intermittantly. Drove it home - would lock up periodically - was locked up most of the way home. Sounded like possible grinding when it did turn. There was no sign of brake pad being bad - such as scraping sound - but know there is alot of miles on them. What would cause the ABS to come on and lock up only the one side. I have not taken it a part yet.

Have rear breaks check ASAP!
Bad shoes, or broken spring on the rear wheel, the ABS system saw 3 wheels working and other messed up.
