Tach response sort of slow
Could this be cause by using the blue wire from the cluster instead of directly from the distro or is it because of the type of Tach I'm using.
I'm using Super Tach II or at least thats what is on the box. |

well a tach signal is a signal, as long as theres a signal it shouldnt matter. maybe u got a junk tach, cause junk tachs are sometimes slow responses, just like temp gauges, how they are hardly ever at the accurate temp cause its shitty slow moving gauges

i just got a tach and couldnt/didnt want to hook it up to my dash, it reads about 80 rpm slower than my stock tach, not too bad though. i dont know about the response though, pretty accurate, my eyes arent fast enough too look at both when i rev.

it could be just a poor quality tach. u can always try and hook the tach up straight to your dist and see if its better
