help me find the name of a song

One year ago, in october 2007, I have heard a song in the bus from a mp3 player of someone.

Since then, I try to find this song, cause it's a very good song.
I didn't know the name nor the lyric.

All I know, is that it's a new song (2007). A very sad song.
The song is sung by one man only.

The song is sung like a poem, with short sentences.
No instrumental music.

Any ideas of what it can be?

Oh I know this one! It's that song, by that guy! He did that thing one year, with these guys, they had all this stuff. It's awesome!

Was another guess of mine but that song has to be from like what 00-01. Good song, great movie, fun game.

I don't heard any music. Mean that is spoken word only or the music is very weak.
