engine stops like you turned of the key
86 olds 88 3.8 3800
car starts fine drives fine until it just drops dead. when you try to restart it takes any where from 5mins to 2hours to go again. threw codes 22,23,24. will any of these cause it to quit?

Does it have spark when it won't start, how about fuel pressure, will it fire spraying starting fluid into the intake, all basic daignostic steps.

car not here now will try tomorrow. had fuel in the rail when it quit and cranking it shot fuel from the valve on the rail so must have fuel. dont know about spark.
