The 90-93 integra didn't come with a ZC, it came with the B18A. The JDM CR-X Si had the DOHC ZC in it. So, i cant compare the hp of those two "ZCs"

if you think the ZC will take the Y8, we will just have to wait and see. I put back a 98 teg RS tonight...3 cars from the start and 1 car from 30. Word. Anyway, I'm always up for a good race. Badstbtch, don't be jealous that you got beat by the Y8...and yes, we will do it again sometime, just put some money where your mouth is!! DAMN!!!!!!

zc purchase

Any one know of a good place to get a good price on a dohc zc? I would like to change out the econo engine and get a little more power. Thought about b16, but it's just too much. Can't afford them.

www.hmotorsonline.com You want the JDM one Because the "ZC" that came in the 86-89 integras is actualy a D16A1 which is verry similar but it wont bolt into you car without alot of modification! The mounts on the integra were totaly different! BTW Hmotorsonline got the motor to me for $750 shiped and was at my doorstep 2 days after I ordered it!

you see that...$750 shipped. That is $500 more than what I am asking for the A6. New rings, p&p head, put a nice cam in it, still have enough for a NOS setup. I still got it. haha.

Neither does a zc. Let me see some dyno sheet.

I can not show you a Dyno sheet I do not poses... But here is a similar setup with I/H/E and cam gears instead of a camshaft. No dyno sheet here iether, just word of mouth:

"Tuning the ZC
Posted by Victor on November 25, 1997 at 21:53:23:

Just had my crx with a zc motor, dc headers, k&n, ultraflo, straight pipe, and stock ecu dyno. Baseline run came out to be 112.1hp, 98.6 ft-lbs @ 6800 rpm at the wheel. After installing cusco cam sprockets(v-tec), it increased to 118.8 hp, 107.0 ft-lbs at 6800 rpm at the wheel. This gain was not as significant as the power gain at 3000 rpm to 5000 rpm which was a gain of 16.2 hp and 26.9 ft-lbs. All runs were made on 3rd gear on a stock si tran. Like to thank Aries at dynamic autosports for his bomb-ass hypertuning adjustments!"

This only makes 107 ft lbs tq... Not bad thoe for just I/H/E and some cam gears! Now back to scouring the internet for some N/A ZC Dyno's...
