steel intake manifold ebay ???
came across this on ebay the other day ... it looks pretty good not sure if you guys know anything about this. It look like a $500 intake manifold but dirt cheap. What are your guys thoughts.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/intak...QQcmdZViewItem

The guy doesn't have much feedback. Manifold is cheap but looks pretty good IMO. I dont see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I guess I think if I was to get an aftermarket intake mani (or exhaust manifold for that matter) I would get something proven.

 Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order. The Purple People Eater will ride again... January 2011 can't come soon enough.

I'm not too thrilled about those welds, especially on the inside of the intake, that'll disrupt some major airflow. You'd probably be lucky to get any gains out of something like that. Maybe if you bought it and put some TLC into it, then it might work a little better, but that's a pretty "rough cast" for an intake manifold.
