Angry 2004 p71Charge/nocharge alternator problem

I have just bought my 4th crown vic /second p71 2004 last week .PROBLEM is this charge/ no charge problem with the alternator.My lights go bright then dim /car over charges then dis charges.checked all connections to battery and alternator .I have tryed 4 different alternators same problem.power at alternator post 14.5 but at battery no power or 13.2 volts. HELP PLZ

wiring issue... when your checking the voltage at the battery gently wiggle the wire harness under the front passenger side bumper cover... I use the word gentle (strongly) They have issues with the wires corrording in that area... make sure you don't have any wires grounding out... Please respond bac k with your results as it helps others with similar problems

Well people it was the green wire that comes from the voltage regulator/ alternator back to the computer .couldnt find the fault in the wire so i just replaced it.Works like a charm.
